Shangri-La Hotel in Harbin will open its seasonal Ice Palace Restaurant and Ice Bar at the end of December 2011. The outlets are constructed completely from ice and are decorated with themes from regional folklore, reflecting wintry and ethnic lifestyles. The Ice Palace Restaurant has four private rooms. Guests can enjoy a variety of hotpots surrounded by colourful ice lights. The Ice Palace Restaurant provides mini heaters and gloves to help guests keep warm. Moreover, an electric heater is placed under each dining table to take the chill off the legroom. The Ice Bar, housed in the Ice Palace, features various international drinks in a romantic atmosphere.
