Overseas student competition ends

The competition was launched by the Ministry of Education of China to enrich the spare time of the country's more than 300,000 overseas students. Its primary competition kicked off on March 28, 2013, during which foreign students from nine provinces around China competed in Chinese traditional sports, orienteering and the arts. Twenty-eight teams ended up in the finals, which were held from May 30 to June 2. Students from Shandong University, Central China Normal University and Zhejiang Normal University won the top awards.
