Fitbit Flex

Price: 898 yuan

Tester: Ding Jie, 32, female, advertisement company manager

"I’ve worn Flex for three months, so far so good. It is light and comfortable. The actual tracker is a tiny piece of hardware tucked inside the band. The band is interchangeable with many color options, which is great for matching outfits.

"It has only a tiny LED with five blinking lights. I set my daily goal as 10,000 steps. An indicator lights up and vibrates every time I achieve 20 percent of the goal. When I hit my daily goal, it gives off stronger vibrations. I’m happy with it, but I would love it more if it could also show the time.

"The sleep tracker tells me how many hours I have been in deep sleep, but it does not mean much to me. The silent wake alarm, however, is useful. The tracker vibrates to wake me up and does not disturb my baby’s sleep.

"I can sync it wirelessly with the Fitbit app on my smartphone through bluetooth anytime to see the number of steps and distance I have walked. I synced it so often during the first month that my battery died after only one day. Normally, an hour’s charge can last about three days. It can easily be charged with a USB cord.

"Although it is waterproof, it is not advisable to wear it in the shower, or swimming."
