How to brush your teeth
Use short strokes to brush your teeth. Twice a day is recommended. Use a small amount of fluoride toothpaste and a small soft brush. Divide your mouth into four sections and spend 30 seconds on each section. Too much brushing can wear down tooth enamel and damage your gums.
Outside: Brush using a circular or up-and-down motion. Start on one side and work your way over to the other side.
Chewing surfaces: Brush along the top and bottom back teeth.
Top inside: Jiggle along every tooth, making sure you clean down to the gums.
Bottom inside: Jiggle along every tooth, making sure you clean down to the gums.
