The 2015 Chinese attendee at the International Debutante Ball in New York, which took place at Waldorf Astoria Hotel, was Fanny Tang. Despite heated discussion on micro-blog Sina Weibo about her background, nothing solid has been revealed about the girl, except her name and nationality. One thing that is under no doubt is her family's wealth, as they can afford the $16,000 for a seat at what is arguably the world’s most celebrated ball. And the Tang's seem to have paid for two seats, as one picture shows Miss Tang with a woman who looks like her mother.
