Auto camping carnival in Hubei ends Oct 26
The third China Auto Camping Assembly is being held in Hubei province's Songzi city this week.
This year's event is being staged at Zongzi's Weishui scenic spot, where the six-day carnival offers a caravan and camping equipment exhibition, concerts, gourmet dining and parent-child tours. It ends on Oct 26.
The event was initiated by the China Automobile & Motorcycling Sports Administrative Center, affiliated with the General Administration of Sport. It aims to boost integration of sports, leisure and camping.
The sponsor named Weishui a five-star camping site for self-drivers at the opening ceremony of the assembly.
The center also signed strategic deals with the local authority and tourism companies for future sports and tourism development.
In past years, the first such event was held in Beijing and the second in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
