A musical performance halfway between a concert and object theater, Sliced Ears invites you on a real visual and sound journey to the heart of world of the kitchen.
By placing motors and vibrating speakers on objects that often go unused, Valentin Durif hijacks and returns energy to sets of kitchen utensils often associated only with utilitarian functions.
The set becomes quickly distorted to make room for a lively, visual, and audial world. An off-the-wall performance that will delight your eyes and ears.

Manceau
Founded in 2009, the group Manceau is a pop group of four musicians taking their name from a Breton landscape, the Champs Manceaux Rennes.
Manceau express themselves through a bucolic folk voice, a trombone and flute of delicate sounds, and a keyboard of lyrical and rhythmic furiousness. Having performed in Japan in the past, the four musicians are back for an Asian tour.
At the Midi Festival in Shanghai and Beijing, the Chinese public will discover them and be filled with the emotions and sounds of one of the most famous French groups of the moment.

Djang San
French musician living in China, Djang San has constructed a musical identity around improvisation and research.
Jean-Sébastien Héry, his real name, is one of the first foreigners in China to have attempted the experience of singing and performing music in Chinese.
He is also the first foreigner to compose using a Chinese instrument, the zhongruan, and use it to play jazz.
A musician at the crossroads of cultures, he works everyday at how to express his inner melody, fed as much by his multiple influences as by his love for Chinese musical culture.
