Staging a dream

The holiday presents a dream opportunity to enjoy a performance at the National Center for the Performing Arts.

Cooking A Dream recently received praise at the Avignon Theater Festival, where it was one of the six Chinese plays performed.

Adapted from a Chinese folk story, it tells about love, life and truth, according to director Huang Ying. "It's a folk tale, but it echoes in modern life," he added.
