Elle MacPherson has signed up to become the global brand ambassador for Revlon cosmetics.

Elle will feature in Revlon’s advertising campaigns and charity work including the promotion of women’s counselling services and breast cancer research.

“Revlon is an iconic brand, bringing high quality products to women around the world and is complementary to my values,” Macpherson said. “I am proud to join Revlon in it’s celebration of women and in its long term commitment and support for education and research to advance women’s health and particularly to fight women’s cancers.”

Signing Elle is clearly a coup for the brand which already boasts Academy Award winning actress Halle Berry and Jessica Alba as celebrity ambassadors.

“Elle’s special qualities as a businesswoman, beautiful and talented model, actress and mother, represent the essence of the Revlon brand.” Revlon President and CEO David Kennedy said.
