A new greenway – Wenjiang Garden Greenway – has been constructed in Wenjiang district. Many gardens and parks are positioned along it.

Huisen Garden is one of those. It is famous for its podocarpus macrophyllu (yew pine) which can be seen in various peculiar shapes. Gardeners show off their ingenuity by forming different beautiful scenic spots with bonsai and rare stones.

The garden also features classical architecture. Under a theme of Western Shu (AD 406-413) culture, the layout of the garden has been carefully designed. The walkways, carved beams, painted rafters, buildings and pavilions are all in this ancient style.

Strolling in the Huisen Garden, one can feel the harmony between nature and art.
