Spend Christmas at "official home of Santa Claus" in Wenjiang

The Floraland Themed Park in Wenjiang district in Chengdu, Sichuan province, welcomed Santa Claus from his hometown, Rovaniemi in northern Finland. He spent Christmas Day with visitors in the well-decorated park.
Christmas trees, gifts, rings and fairy lights could be seen everywhere in the park. After entering, visitors were led to the "Avenue of Stars", where waxworks of 20 famous figures were on display.
The "Northern Light Christmas Music Festival" was held in the park on Christmas Eve (Dec 24) and Christmas Day (Dec 25). Fifteen bands formed of college and university students gave performances to the visitors and shared 20 turkeys and a large cake of more than 1 meter long with them.
Many people also took part in various party games such as an inflatable stick fight and Cross Fire shooting game.
The Finish SantaPark in Rovaniemi has been dubbed the "Official Home of Santa Claus" and its twin version will be built and opened in June 2016 in the Floraland at Wenjiang.
