Ten martial arts masters battled at the top of Emei Mountain in Sichuan province on Sept 15 for the title of “Emei Kung Fu King”.
It was the final event of the 2015 Sichuan International Emei Martial Arts Festival.
The game contained two categories, Chinese boxing and armed combat. After nearly two hours’ fierce competition, Li Daozheng stood out and won the first prize with his powerful palm and sword methods.
The biennial Emei Martial Arts Festival started in 2007 and has now become a feature of Emei Mountain. It promotes traditional Kung Fu culture as well as local tourism in Emei Mountain and Sichuan province.
