New Sichuan Provincial Library opens

The new Sichuan Provincial Library opened to the public on Dec 26.

Located west of Tianfu Square – the center of Chengdu -- the library is the largest in Southwest China. It covers 52,000 square meters and holds more than 7.5 million volumes.

Opening hours: 9:00-17:00 from Dec 26, 2015 to April 23, 2016 (trial period);

                       9:00-20:30 after April 24, 2016.

The library closes on Mondays for employee training and facility maintenance.
