Mobile app seeks to maximize hospital efficiency

Wenjiang Hospital of Chinese Medicine recently launched a mobile application to streamline its medical services.
The hospital cooperated with quyiyuan.com, an Internet company dedicated to "mobile medical care", to create the app. It will allow patients to make appointments, query examination results and access information channels.
"Patients can go through the whole process of seeing a doctor without waiting in a long queue," said a representative from the hospital's management.
The hospital will collect data through the app, such as the total number of patients and the respective number in each department. The data will allow the hospital allocate the proper resources, reduce overcrowding and improve services.
