Children's Go competition to promote Chinese culture

The first Children’s Go competition in Wenjiang District, entitled “Go for wisdom, joys for lifetime”, kicked off on July 2.

Jointly held by the Liucheng Street office, the district education bureau and the district sports bureau, the competition attracted 58 contestants from various schools in the district.

The organizers expect that the event will not only be a platform for children to practice their skills and enjoy the charm of Go, but will also be an opportunity to appreciate and carry forward Chinese culture.
