Flowers to enliven the countryside

In an effort to liven up Yongsheng county, the district government has planted flowers and plants along major roads.
Plum trees, galsang flowers and maidenhairs are among the plants transplanted into beds along a 3.7 kilometer stretch of Binhe Road, which connects downtown Wenjiang with Yongsheng county.
According to one resident, the project, which was initiated in April, has transformed the once dust-plagued Binhe Road into a place where people enjoy walking.
Hostels are also pleased with the changes, as the blooming flowers have attracted more people to the county.
