Wenjiang CPPCC members stress importance of special education

Wenjiang district people’s political consultative conference inspected the area’s special education schools on Sept 13 to learn about the schools’ enrollment and educational resources.

During a symposium attended by members of the CPPCC and officials from relevant government bodies, CPPCC members offered the schools advice and suggestions on how to care for disabled children and allocate education resources.

It was highlighted in the meeting that more attention should be given to special education. According to officials, relevant government bodies should improve their management of schools to allow more children with disabilities and their families to have access to better education.
