Wenjiang invests 5b yuan to build modern agriculture park

Chengdu’s Wenjaing district signed a project with a local company to build an agriculture park on July 10, with plans to bring the local agricultural industry to a higher level.

Mingxin Real Estate, with a wealth of experiences in business, hotel and real estate management, will invest a total of 5 billion yuan ($735 million) to develop a modern agricultural scenic spot, featuring organic agriculture and rural hotels.

Known as a "town of flowers", Wenjiang plans to broaden its recreational tourism and create a health city, promoting health preservation and rehabilitation.

Once completed, the project will promote green development in Wenjiang, according to a local government official.
