Wenjiang holds quality rice tasting activity

To promote and raise the influence of Chengdu's quality rice among citizens, Chengdu held a quality rice tasting activity in Wenjiang district on October 27, aiming to push ahead the development of the whole industry chain from scientific research to the dining table.

The event site had a quality rice tasting area and an exhibition area. The tasting area was for appraising 29 varieties of quality rice by agricultural experts from provincial and municipal scientific research institutes.

The exhibition area displayed industrial development achievements, Wenjiang's unique agricultural products, photography works of rural revitalization and innovative agricultural works from leading agricultural enterprises, professional cooperative organizations and further processing enterprises in the counties and districts of Chengdu.
