Theme comic competition in Wenjiang starts to collect works

A comic competition with the theme of city development held by Wenjiang cyberspace affairs office will start collecting comic works from both professionals and amateurs on Nov 19.

The competition will last until Nov 30. All people are welcome to send their comic works in mainstream image formats such as .jpg or .tif. Multiple works can be sent as a PowerPoint document or as compressed files.

All works should have the theme of Wenjiang development, be high resolution and sent to the email address 3406802001@qq.com with the title of "金温江•新崛起"主题漫画网络征集 + participant's name + work's name. The content of the email should be the work's name + participant's name + contact information + a brief introduction to the work. Emails that do not follow these instructions will be considered invalid.

The content of the works should be healthy and positive so as to reflect the achievements of Wenjiang over the past few years. All the works must be original.

The form of the works can be either a single frame comic or a multiple frames comic, either hand painted or computer painted, either black-and-white or colorized.

Voting for the best works will start from Dec 1 to Dec 5 online, while expert review will start from Dec 6 to Dec 7. Voting will account for 60 percent of the final decision and 40 percent will be based on the judgements of the organizing committee.

The top twenty best works will be displayed on Dec 8. Each author will receive a prize of 600 yuan ($86.5).
