Wenjiang district, Chengdu has launched an innovative administrative examination and approval service model that integrates with the internet to improve efficiency and bring greater convenience to users.
The model covers the four administrative examination and approval procedures for starting a project: registration, project establishment, planning, and construction applications.
With a joint office in the government affairs hall in Wenjiang, the model allows applicants to send in all application materials in one go.

The time limit for examination and approval of investment projects has been cut down from 108 business days to 46 since the launch of the model, saving companies over 6 months between setting up and starting a project.
The online administrative examination and approval service covers 1,077 out of 1,259 items, 90% of the total.
Wenjiang will also begin providing package services for applications that involve multiple administrative departments by integrating service items and optimizing procedures.
