Wenjiang primary school launches AI education

To promote the development of the school and gain more experience in artificial intelligence (AI) education, Hesheng primary school in Wenjiang district, Chengdu invited teachers from QTSTEAM, a professional robot education institution with 18 years of experience in AI education, to give lectures to students.

Mr Cui, a teacher at the school, and his two assistants demonstrated how to program robots with computers and guided the students while they practiced on their own.

Cui also brought in a drone controlled via a computer program.

The activity gave students an introduction to AI knowledge and aroused their interest in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) education.
