Wenjiang cooperates with CPIC for high-quality retirement homes

A groundbreaking ceremony for Pacific Care Home-Chengdu International Nursing Community for retirees was held in Wenjiang district, Chengdu recently.

Under cooperation with Wenjiang district, it is China Pacific Insurance Company's first high-quality nursing home community in the country and is expected to develop into a demonstration project for others in the field.

Relevant leaders from the Chengdu Municipal Government and Wenjiang district joined members of China Pacific at the event.

Located in Wenjiang's Medical City, the Pacific Care Home-Chengdu International Nursing Community covers an area of about 130 mu (8.67 hectares) with a planned floor area of about 250,000 square meters. It is expected to have more than 2000 beds and will offer services for three categories of seniors: independent living, assisted living and professional nursing for those that require special care.

Taking into account the needs of seniors, while incorporating environmentally friendly feature and cultural elements representing Sichuan province, CPIC has invited a famous American architectural company to design it.

The first phase of the project is expected to open to the public in early 2021. In addition to meeting the high-quality retirement needs of seniors in Sichuan province, it aims to spread its influence to the southwestern and northwestern markets.

The retirement home will be operated by the Pacific Ocean Operational and Management Joint Venture, which was jointly established by CPIC and the world-renowned company Operational and Rehabilitation Group Operational.

The retirement community will introduce an international first-class nursing system, in a bid to comprehensively enhance and ensure the quality of its services for seniors.
