Introduction
According to the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China, the legitimate rights and interests of foreigners visiting and residing in China are protected by Chinese law. The legitimate rights and interests of foreigners in China as civil main body are protected to the same extent as that of Chinese citizens. When foreigners’ civil rights are infringed, in addition to that it can be resolved according to the General Principles of the Civil Law, the Property Rights Law, the Contract law and other civil laws; it can also be resolved according to the Tort Liability Law of the People’s Republic of China. According to the Tort Liability Law of China and other relevant laws and regulations, this part will briefly answer the legal issues frequently encountered by foreigners during their living, studying and working in China.
