On December 9, Vice President Liu Shijin met with a Canadian delegation headed by Mr. Paul Rochon, Associate Deputy Minister of Finance and Canada’s Finance Deputy at the G7 and G20. Dr. Liu exchanged views with Mr. Rochon on a wide range of issues, including global economic rebalancing, reform on exchange rate regime, China’s macroeconomic performance, the 12th Five-Year Plan of China and so forth. Mme. Sun Lanlan, Director General of International Cooperation Department of DRC and Mr. Mark Kruger, Minister Counsellor of Canadian Embassy in Beijing were present at the meeting.
