On March 16th, Vice President Liu Shijin met with Mr. David Wright Miliband, former Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of UK. The two sides exchanged views on the issues of China’s 12th Five-Year Plan, innovation policy and low carbon development strategies. Mr. Lan Weiban, Deputy Director General of International Cooperation Department; Dr. Zhang Yongsheng, Senior Research Fellow of Macroeconomic Research Department, Dr. Zhou Hongchun, Senior Research Fellow of Research Department of Social Development, and Mr. Zhang Hongfei, Program Officer, were present at the meeting.
