Research fellow and Director-General of the Research Institute of Finance, Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC)

After her graduation from the graduate school of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 1994 with a PhD in economics, she started working in DRC. She took the posts respectively as associate research fellow, Deputy Director of research office of the Research Department of Macroeconomy, research fellow and Director of research office of the Research Department of Techno-Economy (1998), Deputy Director-General of the Research Department of Techno-Economy (2002), Deputy Director-General of the Research Institute for Finance (February 2003) and Director-General of the Research Institute for Finance (December 2011).

Her research mainly focuses on financial reform and financing of small and medium-sized enterprise.

She has participated in more than 20 research projects in DRC including Research on Coordinated Development Strategy and Reform in China, Master Plan for Financial System Reform, Reform of Chinese Investment System, China's Economic Structure in the Course of the Trans-Century Strategic Development, East Asian Financial Turbulence and China's Economic Development and Countermeasures for Financial Crisis in the Course of Economic Globalization.

She has been responsible for the research of several projects such as Research on Regulation, Control and Management of China's Monetary Market, A Comparative Study on Public Investment in China and Japan, Research on Expansion of Financing Channel of Private Economy, Research on Prediction, Prevention and Solution Mechanism of Systematic Risks of Insurance Industry and Research on Development of China's Health Insurance Market.

She has published a number of research reports mainly including: Logic and Difficulty of Chinese Financial Transformation, Development of Multi-Level Financial Markets, China Is Able to Avoid Hard Landing in the Real Estate Market, Monetary Policy Will Remain Neutral and Easy, Suggestions on Improving Financial Services for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Control on Loan Size of Commercial Banks Should Soon Be Canceled, Research on China's Property Rights Market in the Post Crisis Period, To Boost Multi-level Financial Markets and Raise Efficiency of Financial Services, An Analysis of the Situation and Problems Facing Financing of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Main Problems and Countermeasures of Credit Card Market in China.

She has made public more than 200 academic papers and won seven prizes of China Development Award.
