Li Wei, minister of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), met with Royal Dutch Shell's chief executive officer, Ben Van Beurden, on April 9, in Beijing.

He talked with his guest about DRC's cooperation with the company and discussed global energy supply and demand.

Those present at the meeting included Cheng Guoqiang, head of the DRC's International Cooperation Dep't, and Zhao Changwen, director general of the Industrial Economy Research Department.
