Li Wei, President of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), met with a Japanese delegation headed by Sadakazu Tanigaki, secretary-general of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, and Yoshihisa Inoue, secretary-general of the Komei Party, on March 24, in Beijing where Li explained China's macroeconomic policy orientation under the 'new normal' conditions.
Also taking part in the meeting were Yu Bin, DRC's director-general of General Office, Cheng Guoqiang, director-general of its International Cooperation Department, Hou Yongzhi, director-general of its Department of Development Strategy and Regional Economy, Zhao Changwen, director-general of Research Department of Industrial Economy, and Zhao Jinping, director-general of Research Department of Foreign Economic Relations.
