Introduction to the participating organizations

The Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) is one of China's most important official think tanks to provide policy research and consulting. It has done research on science and technology policies, technology innovation system, and global industrial innovation, with its research results playing an active role in government policy formulation.

The Almanac of China's Economy Press, directly under the DRC, is editing and publishing the Almanac of China's Economy and the China Economy Report. Its editorial board consists of national, provincial, and municipal officials and prominent economists, with DRC President Li Wei holding the editor-in-chief position.
