Chinese and Japanese participants discussed global economic trends, economic cooperation and exchanges, and social security systems in the two countries at a meeting in Kobe, Japan, April 16-17.
Li Wei, president of China's Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), addressed the opening ceremony of the 33rd China-Japan Economic Knowledge Meeting, as China's chief representative.
Other people taking part in the meeting were representatives of enterprises and organizations in China and Japan and officials from China's National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Finance, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and DRC researchers.
