Li Wei, President of the Development Research Center of State Council (DRC), met with Jean Pisani-Ferry, Director of France Stratégie (CGSP), and Laurence Boone, the economic and financial advisor to the French President and France's G20 Coordinator in Beijing on Aug 28. They talked about the economic situation in China and across the world. They also exchanged views on cooperation between China and France.

Taking part in the meeting were Cheng Guoqiang, Director-General of DRC’s International Cooperation Department, and Zhao Jinping, Director-General of Research Department of Foreign Economic Relations.
