Deputy Chief Economist and Deputy Director General, Economic Research and Regional Cooperation Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB)
Dr. Juzhong Zhuang joined Asian Development Bank (ADB) in 1997, and is currently Deputy Chief Economist and Deputy Director General of ADB’s Economic Research and Regional Cooperation Department. He has written extensively on Asian development issues. His recent publications include Inequality in Asia and the Pacific (Rout- ledge 2014); and Managing the Middle-Income Transition: Challenges Facing China (Edward Elgar 2015). From 1992-1997, he was a research officer of the Development Economics Research Program at the London School of Economics. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Manchester
