Wang Wei, Director-General of the Institute for Market Economy, attended an international forum in Trieste, Italy from April 17 to 21, encouraging Southeastern European companies to take part in the “Belt and Road” initiative. The forum was organized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and the Sino-European Development Initiative. Wang Wei spoke on the influence of the “Belt and Road” initiative on logistics systems in Eurasia. She also visited Trieste port and the free trade area.
