A meeting on sharing development experiences between China and participating countries was held in Beijing on July 25. Wang Wei, Director-General of the Institute of Market Economy of DRC, served as host.

The meeting was co-organized by the English Club and the Institute of Public Administration and Human Resources. Officials from developing countries were invited to the meeting, who were also members taking part in the “2016 Seminar on development experiences and cases of China”, to discuss the development situation and policy applications in their countries, their feelings of studying and living in China, and China’s policy areas they were interested in.

This is the tenth year of the “Seminar on development experiences and cases of China”. Over the past ten years, the seminar has trained hundreds of officials from developing countries, and played an important role in sharing experience and promoting cooperation between developing countries. There were 36 members from 14 developing countries at this year’s seminar. They were all high-level officials in charge of economic issues and policies in their countries.
