The annual meeting of the Silk Road Think Tank Network was held at DRC in Beijing on May 16. Over 170 delegates from 43 think tanks, 12 international organizations, and 20 international enterprises from over 30 countries took part in the event.

Around 60 SiLKS members and delegates spoke at the meeting, and discussed issues related to the Belt and Road Initiative and achieved consensus on cooperative construction of the Belt and Road initiative.

A declaration of the Silk Road Think Tank Network was also published at the meeting, and the eSiLKS online work platform was launched.
