The China-Japan Capital Market Round Table Conference 2018 was held in Hangzhou of East China's Zhejiang province from June 29 to 30.

Zhang Laiming, Vice-President of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), and Nagai Koji, chairman of the Nomura Foundation of Japan, delivered keynote speeches at the conference.

The theme of this conference was “new technology revolution and the development of the financial industry”. More than 30 representatives from China and Japan conducted in-depth discussions on issues such as financial innovation and regulation, and the financial industry and the new economy under the conditions of the new technological revolution.

Delegates also visited the headquarters of Ant Financial in Hangzhou.
