Q: Can I drink tap water?

A: We strongly recommend you do not drink the tap water. However there remain the adventurous few who persist in this activity.

Q: I’m a vegetarian will I be ok in China?

A: Yes; every city in china has good vegetarian options. Please remember to ask when ordering, because in china many consider seafood to be vegetarian. For Vegans we make the suggestion to clarify the dishes you order meet you dietary requirements.

Q: Is it safe to eat the street food?

A: Opinion on his is varied, the general answer is yes and there is a great variety of street food available in china at inexpensive prices. We would however make people aware that some people do experience stomach problems after eating street food, but this is usually cured from a dose of Imodium. And ones tolerance to local cuisine increases over time as your body adjusts to local microbes. Q: I have allergies to certain foods.

A: The suggestion here would be to clarify that the food you are allergic to is not in your dish or used to prepare it. If you are in any doubt what so ever please do not eat it.
