Through generous funding from the Li Ka-shing Foundation, Cheung Kong MBA scholarships aim to attract individuals of exceptional ability and talent from China and around the world. The goal of these scholarships is to help meet the financial needs related to the educational well-being and personal development of all eligible MBA applicants.

Below are the two scholarship options available for MBA applicants. The applicant may choose one of the following options or a combination of both:

--Merit Scholarships

Merit scholarships are awarded to applicants in recognition of their academic and career achievements as well as other related soft skills necessary for success in the business world. Assessment is based on information provided by the applicant’s admissions application.

Applicants demonstrating exceptional accomplishment or potential within an industry may receive merit scholarships provided by selected corporate sponsors.

--Need-based Scholarships

Need-based scholarship is awarded to applicants based on their financial need and contingent upon their fulfillment of the criteria set by the scholarship policy established by Cheung Kong GSB. Applicants interested in this scholarship need to submit a separate form stating their income and related financial assets.

The scholarship amount an applicant receives may range from partial to full scholarship, and can only be used to cover tuition cost. - Cheung Kong Full Scholarship: 210,000 RMB

- Cheung Kong Partial Scholarship: 30,000 to 180,000 RMB

Once an applicant’s scholarship package is finalized, the designated amount will automatically be deducted from their tuition prior to the start of the academic year.

Student Loan

Bank loans are available to only mainland Chinese students. Students meeting the criteria set by the bank can apply for a student loan with a discounted interest rate. Admitted students will receive detailed instructions in their welcome package.
