SAFEA deputy head attends Xiamen neuroscience course

The deputy director of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA), Zhang Yali, delivers a speech at the 10th International Course on Clinical Neurosurgery, which opens in the city of Xiamen, Fujian province, on Oct 25.

The deputy director of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA), Zhang Yali, was on hand to deliver a speech at the 10th International Course on Clinical Neurosurgery, which opened in the city of Xiamen, Fujian province, on Oct 25.

Zhang also visited Xiamen Tungsten Co during her stay in the coastal city to meet its foreign expert Nagata Yutaka and to learn about the company’s efforts in introducing foreign expertise and foreign expert working and living conditions.

The course, set up in 2004, is responsible for inviting top specialists in neurosurgery to teach in China, with the benefit of the SAFEA.

This year, the course’s sponsors include the SAFEA, International Neuroscience Institute Hannover, China International Neuroscience Institute, Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University, China-INI Neuroscience Foundation under the Wu Jieping Medical Foundation, Capital Medical University (CMU)’s Neuro-Interventional Graduate School, CMU’s Neurosurgery Department, CMU’s Cerebrovascular Diseases Institute and the Chinese Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases.
