Xiamen Airport received its first Boeing 787 belonging to Hainan Airlines, on Dec 23. The 787 – sometimes referred to as a "dreamliner" - is one of the most advanced aircrafts regarding aviation technology and design philosophy.

The airline said the 787 is decorated with "China red" and has 213 seats, including 36 first-class seats which passengers can adjust to a reclining position.

The plane - flight number HU7191- will fly each day from Beijing to Xiamen. It will take off from Beijing Capital Airport at 09:35 and arrive at Xiamen Gaoqi Airport at 12:20. Flight HU7192 will take off from Xiamen Gaoqi Airport at 13:15 and arrive at Beijing Capital Airport at 15:45.
