The city of Jinjiang, Fujian province opened an animation sculpture exhibition with a prince and princess theme, on SM square, on March 14, using animation figure called JONJON that was based on a Chinese character "Jiong" or 囧, and created by the Fujian Gold Leopard Animation Co. Its online cartoon figures have been downloaded more than 400 million times. The show lasts through March 21.
JONJON has won a 2012 Top 10 Chinese Cartoon Images award, a 2012 National Cartoon Brand Building and Protection award, and a best Internet Cartoon Image of 2011 CCG Chinese original cartoon game award.
