A farmer took 1,130 ducklings to the house of a former employer to recover his back pay, Strait News reported on Tuesday.
Surnamed He, the 60-year-old farmer from Sichuan province was a migrant worker for a man in Jinjiang, Fujian province, three years ago. He said the man owed him 3,000 yuan ($482) in back salary and had refused payment four times when He asked for the money.
On April 13, He bought the ducklings and took them to his former employer's house to urge the man to pay his back salary. The ducklings quacking disturbed the man and they made a mess in the house with their droppings.
After mediation by police, He agreed to take the ducklings away and the two men solved the dispute after discussion.
