The 16th Cross-Strait Fair for Economy and Trade (CFET) held a promotion conference for machinery and electrical new products and innovative technique on May 20, Xinhuanet reported on May 21.

Purchasing experts from Japan delivered a speech about the future development of vehicles’ mechanical and electrical products at the conference, and experts from Fujian Institute of Research on the structure of matter of the Chinese Academy of Sciences gave a report on green energy. Machinery product developers from Fujian made contact with buyers from world-famous brands.

The machinery and electrical products and innovative technique pavilion at CFET showcased Fujian’s innovative technique, such as 3D laser scanner and Li-ion Battery E-bike.

An officer from the Fujian Motor & Electrical Equipment Industry Association said motor & electrical equipment industry was an important part of Fujian’s machinery industry. Medium and small sized motors, power distribution equipment, and new energy battery has formed industrial clusters.
