The 6th Cross-Straits overseas Chinese federation forum will be held in Xiamen on June 15, with the theme of "both sides of the Straits are one family".

Overseas Chinese leaders and participants will gather in Xiamen to come up with new ideas for deepening cross-Straits exchanges and promote cross-Straits peaceful development in the new era.

The opening ceremony will be on the afternoon of June 15. Chairmen of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Taiwan and China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Federation and Taiwan overseas Chinese Federation will deliver keynote speeches.

Some Taiwan deputies will make remarks of their concerns at the forum. Participants will go deep into Taiwan and attend the cross-Straits exchange week during the forum.
