The Department of Public Security of Fujian Province launched an account on WeChat, one of the most popular online messaging services in China, on Oct 29.

By searching fj96110-8 or scanning the QRcode below, WeChat users can follow the account and communicate with service staff from the public security department.

People can inquire about anything concerning the department’s business on the platform. The account will also release alerts on scams and fake information, said police.
