The third session of the 12th Fujian People's Congress drew to an end on Feb 1.

The Congress, which is Fujian's legislative body, listened to and approved multiple reports on the work performance of the Provincial Government, the Congress's Standing Committee, the Fujian Supreme Court and Fujian People's Procuratorate over a five day period.

It also reviewed reports on budget implementation and social development for 2014, and the budget and development plans for 2015.

The Congress received 43 bills and 545 proposals from the delegates, with the hottest issues being the deepening of reforms, regulating market economic order, enhancing urban management, as well as cultural preservation.
