Zhuang Jiahan was appointed Party secretary of the city of Nanping by the Fujian provincial Party Committee, on Feb 11.

Zhuang’s predecessor, Pei Jinjia, was appointed mayor of Xiamen at the annual plenary session of the Xiamen People’s Congress.

Zhuang, 52, was the head of the Fujian Environmental Protection Dept, and now says, “I’m happy to work in Nanping. And I know the job comes with many responsibilities, which will motive me to live up to the expectations of the Party as well as its cadres.”
