Huang Wenhui and Lin Rui have been appointed vice mayors of the Xiamen Municipal Government, authorities said on May 27.
The appointment was announced at a regular session of the Standing Committee of the 14th Xiamen People’s Congress on Tuesday morning.
Huang previously worked as the director of the Xiamen Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and Lin was the director of Xiamen Public Security Bureau and Assistant Mayor.
Lin, 48, is the youngest vice mayor of Xiamen.
