A delegation from the government of Lishui city in Zhejiang province, headed by its mayor Huang Zhiping, visited the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone (PCPZ) in Fujian province on May 18.

The guests toured landmarks and major projects including the Haitan Ancient City, the Aoqian Ferry Terminal, the duty-free Taiwan Commodity Market and a customs checkpoint.

The guests all spoke highly of Pingtan’s progress in infrastructure, saying it will inspire Lishui. They were also optimistic about its future due to an increasing number of preferential policies regarding the construction of a free trade zone.
